The NRS helps people who are deaf, losing their hearing or have a speech impairment to have successful phone conversations and live a more independent, connected life. It’s a great option to help them stay in touch with friends, family and the outside world, and also reach emergency services when needed.

The module

The-learning module is specifically designed to raise awareness and understanding of the NRS among Medicare Local staff and health practitioners, with practical information that will help you explain the service to your networks and clients as well as providing you with other helpful resources.

The module takes about an hour to complete.
